Terms and conditions

Welcome to Richly Inked Studio. By using our website and hiring our studio or on-site services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in accordance with Mexican law.
1. Legal and Health Requirements (Official Mexican Standard)
Age of Majority: In accordance with the Law, the client must be at least 18 years old. It is mandatory to present a valid official photo ID (INE or Passport).
Consent Letter: Before starting, the client must sign an informed consent letter and a health questionnaire, declaring that they do not suffer from conditions that put their integrity or that of the artist at risk.
Health Status: Procedures will not be performed on people under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or with skin conditions in the area to be tattooed.
2. Home Tattoo Service
For services performed outside our main facilities:
Property Conditions: The client agrees to provide a space with washable surfaces, adequate lighting, and optimal hygiene conditions. Richly Inked Studio reserves the right to cancel the service if the location presents a health risk (presence of pets in the work area, lack of cleanliness, etc.).
Travel Expenses: The cost of the home service includes a transportation fee that varies depending on the area of the city/state. This amount will be itemized in the initial quote.
Equipment: The artist will transport only sterile and disposable single-use material, complying with NOM-017-SSA2 for epidemiological surveillance.
3. Reservations, Deposits and Payments
Advance payment: To schedule any appointment, a deposit is required. According to Article 92 Bis of the Federal Consumer Protection Law, this amount guarantees the provision of the service.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule the appointment without losing the deposit. There are no cash refunds for last-minute cancellations.
Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfers and credit/debit cards (subject to current bank fees).
4. Health and Biosecurity (COFEPRIS)
Supplies: At Richly Inked Studio we use inks that comply with safety labeling and new, sterile, disposable needles, opened in the presence of the client.
Hazardous Waste (RPBI): The handling of sharps waste is carried out in accordance with NOM-087-ECOL-SSA1-2002, ensuring that the contaminated material is disposed of through an authorized collection company, including home services.
5. Intellectual Property and Social Networks
Designs: The designs created by our artists are the intellectual property of Richly Inked Studio.
Photographic Record: The studio reserves the right to take photographs of the finished work for portfolio and social media marketing purposes, always respecting the client's identity if requested.
6. Care and Warranty
Client Responsibility: Tattoo aftercare is the sole responsibility of the client once the session is complete. The studio will provide an aftercare guide based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
Touch-ups: A free touch-up session is offered (if the design requires it) within the first 45 days after the session, subject to the artist's assessment of the client's prior care.
7. Protection of Personal Data
Your data is protected by the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. You can consult our Comprehensive Privacy Notice to learn how we protect your information.
8. Jurisdiction
For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) and the competent courts of Mexico City (or the corresponding state).
